I've tried converting my games with psx2psp and creating an eboot. when i turn on my psp, the green light turns on, it makes sounds, and when i press buttons on it, it makes moving around the menu sounds. all of the games go to a black screen and then the psp shuts down. I would try reseating it. run the psp off the ac power adapter when you fix the lcd screen so that it is no longer black when the power is turned on. sometimes (it's rare) during a game's loading my psp 3000's screen goes black and i have no other choice but to take. psp runs fine with a simple charge after battery replacement and runs good with umd games but once i connect it to my pc to download.
